MORE ABOUT TRANSPORT

No, those aren't really our dogs in the photo above.  We just thought it was a cute photo!

Many of our dogs are already fostering in New England.  For dogs that are currently in Texas, we have regular ground transport runs to New England several times a month.  We also fly dogs several times a week from Houston into one of the following airports:  Boston, Newark, LaGuardia, Hartford, and Albany, among others.   Ground transport is included in our adoption fee; air transport involves additional costs in most cases. For ground, we've used the same transport company, Rescue Road Trips (the fabulous Greg Mahle and crew) for three years, with dogs leaving Houston on Wednesday nights and arriving in the North East on Saturdays.  It is a three day trip for the dogs.  Please check out our transport video (click on the YouTube links below) of L.A.B Rescue and other rescue organizations as we load our pups on to Rescue Road Trips truck as they begin their journey to the North East! For air transport, our friends at Continental Airlines PetSafe Program are tops, and the only airline we'll use.  The trip is managed by devoted animal lovers at Continental, and we can have one of our Texas dogs in New England within 3-4 hours!  The dogs do great, and they are handled with care and compassion by the employees of Continental PetSafe.   We have extensive experience with this Program and have never had any complaints!  The dogs do great!

Our best buddies at Continental PetSafe; thanks especially to Linda and Maureen for all they do to help our dogs and the Rescue!
